Abubakar Shekau stated that he "enjoys killing." US authorities promise a sizeable sum to whoever manages to apprehend the brutal Boko Haram leader.

The bounty to catch the terrorist leader is set to $7 million, the Daily Mail reports.

According to the British newspaper, Shekau operate under a variety of names - there are few who know who he really is. The leader's age is not determined, but according to the Daily Mail he is believed to be somewhere between 38 and 49 years old. He probably speaks four languages fluently.

The brutal terrorist leader is also believed to be a father - he has reportedly both a wife and three children - but where these are located is not yet known.

- I enjoy killing ... the same way I enjoy slaughtering chicken and goats, Shekau said in a video clip in 2012.

Military in Nigeria has repeatedly been assured that they have managed to kill Shekau, only to see him perform in a new video a short time later. Shekau has been described as a fearless man, a "lone wolf" who is very dangerous.
