Former Labor (AP) politician Khaled Ahmed Taleb's appeal on the deportation decision has been rejected. The deportation is a result of him using a false identity when he came to Norway as an asylum seeker.
In 2002 Taleb entered in the asylum application that he was named Khalid Haji Ahmed, was from Somalia and four years younger than he actually is. In reality he comes from Djibouti.
Under the false identity he has been County Secretary for the Labor youth party (AUF) and represented Labor in both the municipal and the county council in Hamar and Hedmark.
Taleb became nationally known in 2012 when he in a discussion between members of AUF on Facebook, under the status update "Fucking jew whores, wish Hitler could come back and shower you a little more", he neither repudiated or rebuked the other members grotesque statements. Instead, he wrote two comments that were perceived as supportive. In response to "Fucking Jew whores , world shit..they can all suck me 8 times each... afterwards I will burn them!", Taleb wrote: "Be sure to get sucked by them then !! You're going to get trouble in the cock. "
Despite that Taleb believed that people who were behind the newspaper headlines about his behavior on Facebook were people "trying to hurt him," or "Jews", both Taleb, Hamar AUF and Hamar Labor party (AP) said that he had nothing against Jews. Hamar AUF and Hamar AP did nothing in the matter.
Shortly after when it became known that Taleb had used a false identity to obtain asylum in Norway, he renounced himself from all political posts for Labour, but continued as an independent representative. He is a member of the Diversity Committee and the Committee of industry and culture, in addition to the municipal council in Hamar, despite UDI's deportation order from October 2013. In May he was sentenced to four months in prison for false statements.
The appeal of the deportation decision did not succeed.
On the basis of Taleb's false asylum application, he also got his parents and two younger brothers to Norway, in a family reunion.
Khaled Ahmed Taleb was among those who survived the terrorist attack on Utøya on 22 July 2011. His brother Ismail was among those who were killed.
