If you have plans to travel to Kuwait in the future, then you can be stopped for going through a gay test.
Kuwait doesn't want gays to visit the country. Therefore, they are working on a test that reveals the tourists' sexual orientation.
It led to strong international reactions that President Vladimir Putin recently signed a law banning so-called "homosexual propaganda" in Russia.
Russian authorities claim that the law is intended to prevent young people being influenced by what the law calls "homosexual propaganda".
Now another country make it more difficult for gays.
The oil state Kuwait has in fact plans to introduce a medical test to help customs officers stopping foreign gays from entering the country.
To Daily Mail the Minister of Health in Kuwait, Uousouf Mindkar, confirms that they are working to develop the test.
It is not yet known how it will be implemented.
- We will introduce tougher measures which will help us to expose gays, who will be denied entrance to Kuwait and other Gulf states, Mindkar says to the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Rai.
It is already illegal to be gay in Kuwait. As it is in the other Gulf countries Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
In Kuwait there is a risk ten years in prison if one is revealed as gay by the age of 21, while in Saudi Arabia it is punishable by death.
According to Amnesty International, 78 countries in the world punishes homosexuality with imprisonment, fines or or other measures. This corresponds to 40 percent of the UN member states.
