As mayhem lurks, Sweden plans and hopes to build a civil defense system in cooperation with Norway and Finland, writes Dagens Nyheter.
Panicking parties in the Swedish parliament are in favor of a common Nordic civil defense, and in the draft for the new long-term plan for the Swedish defense they outline how this will be built up to handle war and crisis.
During the Cold War, neutral Sweden built a comprehensive civil defense system with bunkers, gas masks, rescue services, field hospitals and large stocks of food, fuel, etc.
Finland copied this system and kept it after the end of the Cold War, while Sweden scrapped its civil defense.
Finland now have the best defense system of all the Nordic countries, if one look away from the fact that Norway is supported by NATO, which neither Finland and Sweden are.
Now Swedish politicians suddenly think that cooperation on civil defense should be established, primarily with Finland.
"One could imagine a deeper bilateral cooperation on support and delivery, security, issues relating to the protection of the population, repair, operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure, hospital resources and supply of medicines, as well as joint preparations for evacuation," says Björn von Sydow, who has led the planning for the parliament.
He believes the NATO country Norway should also participate in the cooperation.
"Cooperation would have been very natural as our three countries have a coherent system of supply and import. Probably also when it comes to dealing with refugees in the event of war and also health services, says von Sydow.
Such cooperation could mark a fresh start after a frost period at the political level between Sweden and Norway in defense matters, he believes.
- This since Norway did not buy Gripen aircraft and broke out of the Archer joint artillery project. Some progress has been made and the countries now have defense attachés with each other.
However, Norway, Sweden's closest neighbor may not be so eager to participate in a defense cooperation with Sweden. Norway's right-wing government has long been observing what's going on in Sweden, and Norway's Integration Minister Sylvi Listhaug earlier this year traveled to the Stockholm suburb of Rinkeby to "study Swedish conditions" in the suburb, and to confirm for herself how bad it really is.
That ended with a shitstorm from Swedish politicians in denial, who refused to meet her and asked her to apologize for the visit and her statements. But Listhaug refused to do so.
- I have no reason for that. I have only conveyed information we have received from the police about vulnerable and especially vulnerable areas (no-go zones). The latter are areas where parallel societies have been developed. The debate in Sweden is far less open than in Norway. If one is to solve a problem, the first condition is to recognize it, Listhaug told VG.
In 2016, Prime Minister Erna Solberg said that Norway is prepared to abandon the Geneva Convention if Sweden collapses. The border will be closed by force and Swedish refugees will be rejected without the possibility to seek asylum. "We are prepared for the worst," she said.

And that mayhem is lurking in Sweden, should be clear for most people by now. Even the panicking Swedish politicians are starting to realize it, with bombs going off, shootings and killings, riots and looting, severe violence and an ongoing and escalating rape jihad.
So the defense plea from Sweden is most likely in vain, both with Norway and Finland. The Swedes have made their bed by importing Middle Eastern conflicts and its culture, and the consequences of this could easily end up in civil war, like this school teacher describes:
- In the schools, one can see the war coming

Here is the proof that there is an ocean on Jupiter's moon
Scientists estimate that the water is ten times deeper than the deepest ocean on Earth. Atop of the ocean there is a 150 km thick crust of ice.
