Statistics are gone and it is now unclear how many people who have been rejected. This is now the convenient explanation by the government for not telling the Swedes that whoever have been let into the country, including terrorists and children aged 45.
The Swedish police do not know anymore how many people who have been denied entrance to Sweden - or how many foreign immigration checks that were made in 2017, Aftonbladet reports.
The reason is apparently that the statistics have broken down due to the reorganization of the police, which means that figures are missing between February and October.
"We do not have comprehensive statistics at the moment, which can make traceability difficult. But it does not affect the operational work to the same extent," Patrik Engström of the border police told the paper.
