Twitter is currently stripping conservative profiles of their verification badge, and by doing so proving that it was never about being verified but about endorsement.
Of course, Twitter has its own explanation, claiming that it is not about endorsement:
“Verification was meant to authenticate identity & voice but it is interpreted as an endorsement or an indicator of importance,” Twitter Support explained earlier this month. “We recognize that we have created this confusion and need to resolve it.”
On Wednesday, Twitter followed up to this prior announcement by unveiling a plan to handle the situation, writing: “We are conducting an initial review of verified accounts and will remove verification from accounts whose behavior does not fall within these new guidelines. We will continue to review and take action as we work towards a new program we are proud of.”
Tommy Robinson, Laura Loomer and several other well-known public figures thus had their verification badge taken away because they have a different opinion than the globalist elite.
Asked by a follower why it is so important for her to be verified, Laura Loomer replies:
"Because taking away a journalist's public verification on social media is a form of censorship. And censorship is the first step toward tyranny."
"Apparently if you call for Jihad against Donald Trump you're allowed to be verified," pointing to Linda Sarsour, who in a speech called for Jihad against President Trump, yet she still gets to keep her little blue badge because Twitter endorse her.
In addition to removing the verification badge from conservative users, many are temporarily banned or have their Twitter account removed entirely. Even President Donald Trump was recently banned by Twitter a few minutes in their eagerness.
At the same time both YouTube(Google) and Facebook are engaged in this outrageous censorship, where channels and profiles are removed by the thousands at the moment.
The agenda seems pretty clear.
"Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing the freeness of speech." - Benjamin Franklin
