Unaccompanied refugee child turns out to be a grown man. Imagine my shock.

Last Sunday Madani Ahmad became Swedish junior champion in Judo. But now he and his brother are to be expelled to Afghanistan, after the Migration Board has established that they are not, as they claimed, unaccompanied refugee children but in fact grown men.

The Migration Board has been able to find out that both Madani Ahmad and his brother are lying about their age and are actually adults.

The so-called junior champion, claimed to be only 16 years old.

"If we are sent back, our lives are over," said Ahmad, to DN, where he is described as an "underdog" who "won against all odds," when he, as an adult, shamelessly participated in the championship and fought against Swedish youths.
