A 75-year-old man from Afghanistan has been sentenced to six months in prison for sexual abuse of a seven-year-old boy at a playground, reports Fria Tider.
The incident occurred in July 2016 at a playground in Hägersten in Stockholm.
A witness told that he came from the underground with his wife, and that they saw two-three boys teasing a man, until a woman said to stop to the children. The witness later saw the same man sitting on a bench, while a boy sat next to the old man.
The witness then saw that the foreign man had about half his hand inside the boy's pants/underwear for ten to twelve minutes. When one of the other boys said that someone was standing on the balcony, the old man immediately removed his hand from the boy's groin.
The boy told police during questioning that the man had kissed him on the mouth, touched him on his thigh next to the groin, had his hand inside his underwear, and had inserted a finger in his anus.
The 75-year-old Afghan was sentenced in late January to six months in prison. He must also pay SEK 32,200 in damages to the boy.
He will not be deported to his homeland, however, despite being a risk to Swedish children.
