Videos have become extremely popular on Facebook and you've probably noticed videos that start by themselves.

Video views on Facebook increased by over 50% just from May to July. From the month of June it has been shown an average of over one billion videos on Facebook every single day. More than 65% of those views happens on mobile devices.

Sometimes it can be a bit too much and here is how to disable auto-play:

PC

1 Go to Settings (or simply follow this link if you are logged on: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=videos)
2 Select Videos at the bottom on the left menu
3 Select Auto-Play Videos ON / OFF


iPhone and iPad

1 Go to Settings
2 Scroll down and click on Facebook
3 Click on Settings
4 Click on Auto-play below Video
5 Select either On, WiFi or Off

Android

1 Open the Facebook app
2 Click the menu button on your phone
3 Click on Settings
4 Scroll down and click on Video Auto-play
5 Select either On, WiFi or Off
