Man who 'attacked' mosque with bacon dies in jail
Kevin Crehan, 35, died in HMP Bristol on Tuesday, December 27 while serving a 12-month prison sentence for an attack on Jamia Mosque in Totterdown, reports the Bristol Post.

Kevin Crehan was serving a 12-month sentence for tying bacon to the door handles of a mosque in Bristol.

He was convicted in July 2016 alongside three others after racist abuse was also shouted at a worshipper.

A police spokesman told the Bristol Post this morning Crehan's death is 'not suspicious'.

He said it is being treated as a 'sudden death'.

Now, if you find it outrageous that tying bacon to a door gives approximately the same sentence as aggravated assault or even rape, it means you are sane.
