The brutal killing of 32-year-old woman who was seven months pregnant shocks Denmark.
The killing of a 32-year-old woman who on Friday night was found dead in a park in Herlev, is an even greater tragedy. She was seven months pregnant.
According to the woman's profile on Instagram, she six weeks ago put up a picture of her pregnant belly and wrote that she had three months left of pregnancy.
The 32-year-old, who lives in Herlev, worked with sales of cosmetics in a department store. She was killed by a unknown assailant as she walked her sister's dog in the park in Herlev.
The killing was very violent. She was killed with several stab wounds in the chest, and the killer probably used an ax, writes Ekstra Bladet. The body had injuries as made by ax blows.
Ekstra Bladet has been in contact with the murdered woman's family, which currently do not want to comment.
Investigator Hans Tonnesen says that the woman is first going through autopsy on Monday and before the result of the autopsy is ready, he can not comment on what kind of weapon that may have been used for killing.
- We can see that she has multiple stab wounds, says Hans Tonnesen.
No weapons have been found at the crime scene.
She was in the park to walk the dog - a golden golden retriever, and the 32-year-old was 'visibly pregnant', police said.
Police seek witnesses to the murder and ask that anyone who have been in the area between 18:30 and 19:30 contact the police.
