For years, Paul Elkins has been touring the country in what he calls a “stealth camper.” You’re not going to believe this one until you see. First of all, unlike most other small homes we see, this one is attached to a bicycle, writes Little Things.
It weighs only 60 pounds and only cost Paul $150 to make! He used four recycled fluted-plastic campaign signs that he scored from a recent election, a $20 used bike, six pine boards he got for a dollar at Home Depot, duct tape, zip ties, and screws.
The home contains a stove, a bread-pan sink, a counter, food storage, shelving, clothing storage, a bed, LED lighting, and a skylight, and it’s is even insulated.
“It does show the possibilities of a new way to get around and travel or to live. You don’t have car insurance, you don’t have home insurance payments. What do you got? Food.” Paul says. “For people who can’t afford a pickup truck and to build a little home on a trailer, maybe they could just do this and tour around. For people who are adventurers and don’t mind pulling a little weight and taking their time traveling, this I think would be a fun way to go.”
