Schools in Germany closed due to threats
Several schools in Germany are closed after at least nine schools have received threats by email.

Approximately 900 students have been sent home from two high schools in the city of Magdeburg in East Germany, police said.

At least seven schools in the city of Leipzig have also received threats.

Also schools in the states of Lower Saxony and Bavaria, south of the country, have received threats, according to the regional TV channel MDR.

Police have not yet given any details on the content of the threats.
