A woman bound to wheelchair was gang-raped by asylum seekers. Then the rapists were released by the court. This made the inhabitants on the Swedish island Gotland very angry, so they took to the streets to protest.
This again had the police and the establishment to almost go into panic, and according to Swedish mainstream media, Gotland was suddenly the arena for neo-nazis and far-right crazies, who were there to start a revolt. Completely false of course, as it were the residents of the island themselves who took to the streets.
Police sent reinforcements (riot police and dialogue police) to the island to stop the brewing revolt, after people in the juridical system were threatened for releasing the rapists - for a reason most people found utterly insane.
And to add to the insanity, now the feminist left has decided to gather in a "manifestations against racism" to be held on Sunday.
The feminist rally to be held on Sunday, is described as a reaction to the "nazis" allowed to march in Visby last weekend.
"We will never accept the racists' simplified description of reality and their alleged desire to 'protect the Swedish women' against a mysterious threat from the outside," the Feminist Initiative writes on Facebook.
"We will show the racists and sexists that we are many, strong, and that we stand up for the equal rights," it says.
The comments before the demonstration, by users who have visited Fi's Facebook page, however, are ruthless.
"A woman has been gang raped by cavemen from the Middle East (and she's apparently not the first victim) and you make a manifestation against racism, I want to puke!!! And you protect women? Shameful!!!," writes one woman.
"Damn it's distasteful!" says another.
Tomas Petterson from Gotland Fi says it will not be relevant to invite the other parties that have a racist policy, since the asylum seekers then will refuse to participate.
- They will never be invited as long as the Conservatives and the Social Democrats stand for the policies they do, says Petterson to the local newspaper Hela Gotland.
