To try to solve the case, clueless Copenhagen police have now chosen to publish a surveillance video showing four men who gained access to a closed area at a car dealership in Brøndby and set several cars ablaze, reports Lokalavisen.

The incident happened on Sunday, September 11, 2016 around 23.45 in Brøndby. The perpetrators entered the area by cutting a hole in the fence.

The video shows how the gang, after smashing the car window, throws flammable liquid into the car before moving on to the next car.

Police need witnesses

Copenhagen police would like to hear from citizens who may recognize the perpetrators or know about the incident. The police also want to hear from citizens who may have seen one or more of these men fill up or carry a green petrol can before the time of the offense.

Curiously enough, the video switches to colour as soon as the perpetrators are out of the picture.
