Bomb in Budapest - targeting police
HUNGARY: A homemade nail bomb exploded in the middle of Budapest Sunday. Two police officers are wounded, one of them seriously.

"Someone tried to murder our police officers," said Hungarian top police chief, Karoly Papp.

Police are investigating the explosion as an act of terror.

Witnesses described how the killer had waited in a doorway before he threw the bomb against two police as they passed the building.

Police are hunting a man aged 20-25 who was wearing a white hat.

It is offered a bounty for information that could lead police to the perpetrator.

The female officer was hit in the head and her condition is critical.
