Monkeys on the run in Denmark
The so-called skull monkeys have escaped from their enclosure in the Odense Zoo, reports EB. Staff from the zoo are late Saturday night trying to catch them.

About ten cute monkeys from Odense Zoo have escaped and are Saturday night on the run in the town.

The monkeys escaped around at 19:30 from their enclosure, and they are still looking for them, says head of security at Fyn Police, Kenneth Taanquist.

- The monkeys have run out on a path that goes through the zoo and along the river of Odense.

- The monkeys are of the same kind as Pippi Longstocking's Mr. Nilsson. They are totally harmless unless you stick a finger in their mouth, says Kenneth Taanquist.

He says police have left the task to Odense Zoo of capturing the monkeys and bring them back to the zoo.
