A man rescues a crocodile from certain death. Then something happens that has surprised the whole world.

This story started 20 years ago and is one of the most incredible stories ever.

A man named Chito found a dying crocodile at the river of Para Mina in Costa Rica almost 20 years ago.

Chito says he loves all animals, and could not bare to see the crocodile suffer despite that it is a feared predator.

He took care of the crocodile, which had been shot in the head, giving it care. And after a while the day had come when Chito believed that the crocodile was healthy enough to be returned to nature.

He took the crocodile back to the river. But to his surprise, he found the crocodile lying on his porch the day after.

Now they are an inseparable couple, bathing together and the crocodile enjoys being cuddled.

Are these the world's most unusual friends?
