Louis van Gaal has been sacked
Louis van Gaal is finished as Manchester United manager, reports British media.

The FA Cup triumph on Saturday was the last thing Louis van Gaal did as Manchester United manager, writes the British newspaper the Independent.

At the same time the newspaper speculates that the former Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho, will become the new manager at Old Trafford.

An official statement from Manchester United's chief executive, Ed Woodward was expected today, but the well-informed Mirror journalist, David McDonnell, says a statement will not be given today, as it was reported by several British media.

The Independent also reports that since the Dutchman has been sacked, Albert Stuivenberg, Frans Hoek and Max Reckers in the (former) managers's support team, also have to leave their jobs at the Theater of Dreams, according to the newspaper.
