At least four people have died and several thousand people have had their homes ruined by flooding in Louisiana, Oklahoma and Mississippi, says US officials.

Heavy rain for many days has led to several rivers flooding areas in the three states.

Three people have been found dead in Louisiana while one died in Oklahoma.

In Mississippi, two fishermen are also missing, according to the state rescue center.
