A big Swedish mainstream newspaper makes history - starts new article series and puts up unique database over jihadists.
It had to happen eventually. Swedish mainstream media, facing a crisis because of lack of readers, had to start digging into material that they so far have avoided like Kolera, but which steals millions of readers every week - handing them nicely to alternative media who dare write about it.
So the survival instinct kicks in. Make more money, start writing about the stuff that is factual and interesting to readers - or die.
"The mission: Kill and populate the Caliphate" and "Aftonbladet investigates the Swedish jihadists," say the headings of Aftonbladet's new article series, where jihadists who has travelled to Syria and Iraq to join ISIS, are under the microscope.
"They openly celebrate the most brutal terrorist sect the world has witnessed in modern times."
"They join IS and other armed terrorist networks in Syria and Iraq to populate, train, fight and kill for the dream of a caliphate ruled by Sharia law."
"Säpo (police) knows that at least 286 of them are Swedish."
"Sweden and Europe is currently facing the biggest terrorist threat in over ten years, according to Europol. For the first time ever, the threat level in Sweden has increased to four on a five-point scale."
"Yesterday it was revealed that two Swedish men have been arrested in Greece on suspicion of wanting to join ISIS. One of the men, the Swedish citizen Mirsad Bektasevic, was previously sentenced to 15 years and four months in prison for terror crimes in Bosnia."
"Several of the young Swedes, who are trained as soldiers of terror, return to Sweden. They have learned to kill and can be potential terrorists - in our midst."
"For this reason we have chosen to publish the names and pictures of some of them. Those who are confirmed to be jihadists from several independent sources."
"We will also publish excerpts from propaganda films showing how people from Sweden are trained, and in many cases kills. They show the senseless violence that Swedish terrorists are capable of performing," writes Aftonbladet.
Maybe they will start writing about everyday crime in Sweden too soon, telling it like it is.
Survival, Aftonbladet, survival...
