Dutch police have arrested and charged a former Dutch soldier suspected of killing several ISIS-terrorists while fighting with Kurdish forces in Syria last year, according to the newspaper Dagen.

The 47-year-old man was arrested in the city of Arnhem on Wednesday, according to court documents.

He met for the court on Friday, where he was released. But the charges against him are upheld.

According to Dutch law, it is illegal for Dutch citizens to inflict violence. Period.

The man is a former soldier, but after he left the Dutch army, he has fought alongside Kurdish YPG forces against the brutal terrorist Organization ISIS in Syria.

There he has killed several IS-fighters, according to the indictment.
