Thousands of different hidden Netflix categories can be searched with this smart trick.

The streaming service Netflix only presents you with a small sample of the huge range of TV shows and movies that in fact are available on the site.

However, using an unofficial category list, users may find whatever they are interested in and then get the categories within their favourite genres.

Once you have found the category in the list, you need to log in to your Netflix account and enter the following URL: http://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/

Then simply enter the digits you found in the category list behind the URL, and the category will appear on the screen.

If you for example want to see all available Disney movies, enter the code 67673 after the URL, so it reads: http://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/67673, in the address field.

And if you want to see all war movies available on the site, the category to type is 3373.

The website ogres-crypt.com has made a list of thousands of categories available on Netflix, and sorted it in alphabetical order.

It is, however, only possible to see the categories through a browser such as Safari or Firefox, etc. It is therefore not possible to access the categories with Apple TV, apps or other Smart TV solutions.
