A 5-year-old girl sits on Santa Claus' lap - but she did not expect this conversation.

A video clip from a British shopping mall now spreads on social media. The video was filmed in the English city of Middlesbrough, where children had the opportunity to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what they want for Christmas.

In this touching clip, lasting 40 seconds, a 5 year old girl who has a hearing impairment is jumping up on Santa's lap, but she does not answer his question.

- I'm sorry, she can't talk very well, her mother says.

Then Santa gets a serious facial expression and asks her mother if the little girl knows sign language. Her mother confirms that she knows a little.

This Santa obviously has more skills than climbing through chimneys and flying with deers.

He gets the girl's attention and ask her, using sign language, what she wants for Christmas. The conversation continues in sign language, and this little girl had an extra good and special experience with Santa Claus this year.
