A group of Polish fans attacked Sevilla supporters ahead of the Spanish club's Champions League match against Manchester City in Manchester on Wednesday.

Three Poles were arrested after the incident.

A Spaniard has suffered a head injury in the fight and was sent to hospital.

The Polish supporters attacked the Sevilla supporters with chairs outside Sinclair's Oyster Bar, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Sevilla is to play against Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday, and it is unclear why fans from Poland have made the trip to England, but the attack was probably planned.
