Traffic chaos after car bomb in Gothenburg
Police have cordoned off a large area around a car that has blown up in what is believed to be an immigrant gang-related incident in Gothenburg. Now long queues are forming in most parts of the city.

The car bomb detonated in the immigrant suburb of Angered, writes Aftonbladet.

The explosion has been classified as a special event by the police, who has called in resources from surrounding districts.

- There is lot of traffic on the site and there have been long queues, said police spokesperson Christer Fuxborg.

Bomb Technicians are on site to examine the vehicle.

- A bomb robot has conducted a check, now are they doing manual examination, says Christer Fuxborg.

He continues:

- We have taken safety first at the location. A safety zone of 400 meters has been established. Some other cars have been damaged by the blast. However, no people have been harmed.

It is said to be no known threats against the owner of the vehicle, which had no license plates.

Police urge the public to stay away from the area.
