In September alone, nearly 280,000 immigrants from the third world made their way to Germany, says the Bavarian Interior Minister, Joachim Herrmann, according to AFP.
- According to current figures, we must assume that between 270,000 and 280,000 refugees came to Germany in September 2015, says Joachim Herrmann, according to the news agency.
The Minister says that the limit on how many homes Germany can provide to immigrants, is quickly is about to be reached.
- It is important to immediately reduce the immigration pressures on the borders of Germany, he said, according to AFP.
Germany previously opened the floodgate of migrants and refugees by stating that there was no limit to the number of people the country could receive. A statement they soon regretted, when reality kicked in and actual people replaced generous numbers on a sheet of paper.
Should this development continue in the same pace, it would mean that more than 3,3 million people could be heading for Germany within a year.
