Plane disappeared from radar in Indonesia
A plane with ten people onboard has disappeared from radar in Indonesia.

The Indonesian airline Aviastar states that they have lost contact with a commercial airliner with ten people on board.

The plane, a Twin Otter, disappeared over the island of Sulawesi.

The plane was heading from Masamba and Makassar on the Sulawesi island in central Indonesia.

- Ten people were onboard, said Wisnu Darjono from the country's aviation authorities.

It is understood that contact was lost 30 minutes before the plane was due to land.

The airline Aviastar has only domestic flights in Indonesia.
