Seven people were slightly injured when a fire broke out in a British Airways plane during take off from Las Vegas on Tuesday afternoon.
On board the plane bound for Gatwick in London, there were 159 people and 13 crew members.
According to the flight crew, the passengers were quickly evacuated via the airplane's emergency exits.
It is not clear what caused the fire, but there was a problem with the left engine as the plane was taking off, said a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration.
Photos and video show the plane with flight number 2276 covered in thick black smoke.
McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas says that the fire was put out, and the other three runways at the airport opened.
