An eleven year old boy has been charged with manslaughter after shooting a three year old boy in Detroit in the state of Michigan.

The Eleven-year-old was visiting his father when he found a gun in a closet in the bedroom on Monday, say prosecutors.

Police said the two boys were playing with the weapon, which ended with that the eleven-year-old shot the three-year-old in the head.

- I can not remember that we have ever charged someone so young for murder. Unfortunately the circumstances of this case demanded that we did so, says prosecuting attorney Kym Worthy.
