Several people are injured after a shooting at a tourist hotel in Barcelona, according to the Spanish newspaper El Pais. Spanish police are looking for two suspects.

Police are looking for two people who shot at guests at the hotel Silken on Tuesday afternoon.

The condition of one of the wounded is serious, according to the newspaper.

One person also has been injured by a knife in the incident on Tuesday.

The shooting took place on La Rambla, which is very popular among tourists in the city.

One of the suspects then allegedly ran off via the street Raval, the newspaper said.

The police suspected that one of the perpetrators were hiding on the Carrefour supermarket right by the hotel, but later dropped that theory.

The motive for the shooting is still unknown, but Spanish police are going through footage from surveillance cameras to try to identify the perpetrators.

According to unconfirmed reports, the police have killed a suspect.
