Chelsea has hired striker Radamel Falcao in one year by AS Monaco. In Chelsea, Falcao is reunited with his teammate from the time of Atlético Madrid, Diego Costa.

The duo Radamel Falcao and Diego Costa played a key role when Atletico Madrid in 2012 won the Europa League and the following year the Spanish Cup final with a win over Real Madrid. Now, the Colombian again will play with the Brazilian in Chelsea, after the English champions have hired Radamel Falcao for the upcoming season by AS Monaco.

"I am really looking forward to come to Chelsea. I can hardly wait to get started with the training, so I can help defend the title", says Radamel Falcao according to Chelsea's website.

The 29-year-old Colombian in 2013 changed to the French team AS Monaco, before he last year was hired by Manchester United, where he has not had great success, with just four goals in 29 games.
