Somali immigrant brutally raped 12-year-old girl, sentenced to 180 hours community service
A 18-year-old Somali immigrant who brutally raped a 12-year-old girl in Sundsvall, Sweden, has been found guilty of rape of a child - but he was sentenced to 180 hours of community service.

The girl told the court that she last November went with the offender, Muhamed, to his home because he promised her that she would then get back intimate photos he had of her.

In his apartment he tore off her clothes so that her jacket was broken and carried out the brutal rape.

When the 12-year-old girl tried to resist the Somali hit her in the face and hold his hand over her mouth while he raped her.

- Black dick is expensive, proclaimed the Somali on several occasions during the rape, the girl told the court.

Muhamed, who was 17 when the crime was committed, claimed that the two had a "love affair" and that he did not know she was underage - information the court dismissed. According to the verdict, it is beyond reasonable doubt that he raped the girl vaginally and that he during the rape, hit her in the face/head, and held a hand over her mouth.

Although rape of a child normally would give a prison sentence, the district court choose to let Muhamed get away with a light sentence - 180 hours of community service with probation. The verdict refers among other things to the offenders low age and that he has "some trouble with anxiety and sleeping problems, which he is medicated for when necessary".

Sweden, where the offender becomes the victim.
