RPT: Satellite Data Shows No Global Warming For More Than 17 Years
Recent satellite data shows that there has been no global warming for more than 17 years.

According to the RSS satellite data, whose value for March 2014 is just in, the global warming trend in the 17 years 8 months since August 1996 is zero. The 212 months without global warming represents just over half the 423-month satellite data record, which began in January 1979.

Author and columnist Mark Steyn was on “Hannity” to discuss the data. He said that none of the climate models or “scare mongering” predicted these results.

Steyn called the global warming fixation “an appeal to rich people” and “a concern of the elite,” which is why he said it appeals to Hollywood and royalty.

“There’s a nonsense about this,” he said, noting that the Obama administration wants to regulate bovine flatulence.

Steyn said eco-friendly things are also causing environmental damage, citing new ethanol and wind turbines.

Sean Hannity referenced remarks President Obama once made about Republicans planning for dirty air and dirty water.

“I’ve got kids,” Hannity said. “It may shock liberals, but I want clean air and clean water, and I think we can frack and drill and mine for coal and still be good stewards for the planet.”
