Christopher Lee is dead, 93 years old
The British actor was best known for the roles of Dracula, and Saruman in the Lord of the Ring movies.

The actor was knighted in 2009 for services to drama and charity, and was awarded the Bafta fellowship in 2011.

Sir Christopher Lee died 93 years old on Sunday morning, after being admitted to the hospital with shortness of breath and heart failure.

He passed away at the hospital Chelsea and Westminster in London. The announcement of his death was delayed because his wife wanted to inform the immediate family first.

The couple had been married for over 50 years. In addition to the film career Lee also released a number of heavy metal albums.

Lee starred in over 200 movies and TV series, often as the villain rather than the hero.

Rest in peace (and blood) Count Dracula.
