In late March, the controversial Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson was fired from the BBC.
Meanwhile came the news that he risked imprisonment after a physical and verbal attack on colleague Oisin Tymon.
But today BBC confirms on its website that the case against Clarkson has been dropped. There should be no reason for further investigation.
Tymon said last week that he did not want the police to do anything on his behalf.
