Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu slams the framework agreement on Iran's nuclear program and has summoned ministers and security advisers to a meeting.
US President Barack Obama phoned Netanyahu after the preliminary agreement was in place on Thursday night, but he was unable to reassure the Israeli leader.
- This agreement will legitimize Iran's nuclear program, strengthen Iran's economy and increase Iran's aggression and terror throughout the Middle East and elsewhere. It will increase the risk of nuclear proliferation in the region and a terrible war, according to a statement from Netanyahu after he had spoken with Obama.
Netanyahu, who recently won the elections in Israel, after an election where fear of an Iranian nuclear bomb was central, believes that the agreement will not prevent the archenemy of making a nuclear bomb in a short time.
Israel has previously threatened to bomb Iranian nuclear facilities on their own to destroy the country's ability to produce a bomb.
Iran has during the twelve year long conflict denied that they have ambitions to use its nuclear program to produce weapons. But the country has also denied inspectors to verify the program as the world community demands.
