They had not seen each other for two years. Nathan was stationed at a mission station in Russia, while Bailey waited at home.
According to his father, Allan, Bailey took the separation hard, as he regularly went to the bedroom to check if Nathan had come home. Increasingly disappointed he had to ascertain that it was not the case.
Finally the wait was over and Nathan knocks on the door.
Not unexpectedly the energy-full Beagel reacts ecstatic and runs over to the window. The joy is not less ecstatic when he realizes who has just come home.

On a street in the Syrian city of Aleppo three decommissioned buses are turned upright to protect people from snipers, a symbol of how dangerous life is in the bombed-out city.
