The Swedish Foreign Minister, Margot Wallström, is deeply concerned that her statements about the judiciary in Saudi Arabia will be perceived as criticism of Islam. At the business meeting she repeated that she feared that such an interpretation will spread in the Muslim religious world.
According to those who attended the meeting, Wallström was shaken by the Arab world's reactions to her statements about the state of human rights in Saudi Arabia, Sveriges Television reports.
Wallström has, among other things, said that it is medieval methods to sentence their citizens to flogging as was the case with the imprisoned blogger Raif Badawi. At the meeting with business leaders, she on several occasions expressed her fear that what she said would spread in the Muslim world.
- What has been unfortunate is that it has been linked to Islam, or it has been suggested that it would be statements against Islam. But it is wrong and very unfortunate. It is important to mention that this is not some statements made against a religion, says Margot Wallström, in an interview with TT after the meeting ended.
Saudi Arabia is governed according to Sharia, Islamic law, but according to Wallström, it has nothing to do with Islam. It shows why the Swedes and Sweden has a problem with its politicians. They are dumb as a wet brick.
This confirms the findings of another great Islamic scholar, Hussein Obama, who discovered that ISIS, the Islamic State, has nothing to with Islam.
