Priest warns: Solar eclipse may be the end of the world
Glasses are bought, geeky astronomy events are held in several places and the excitement has reached the entire northern Europe, as they wait for the eclipse, which can be seen on Friday, March 20.

But the priest Mark Blitz is less enthusiastic about the natural phenomenon, which he believes is a sign of imminent doomsday. The solar eclipse will also coincide with a so-called 'blood moon' or simply lunar eclipse which will happen a couple of weeks later.

This coincidence is according to Mark Blitz hardly coincidental. On the contrary, he believes 'that it most likely is a message from God to the world'.

Another coincidence is the vernal equinox, which is also on March 20.

Mark Blitz says that the upcoming lunar eclipse, which takes place on April 4, coinciding with the first day of the Jewish calendar.

- An event of this magnitude at the beginning of a religious, new year, requires attention. The Bible tells us that heaven gives signals on feast days, and this is a very significant sign of a critical day, he says.

Besides a partial solar eclipse on Sept. 13, 2015, comes the fourth lunar eclipse in the series during 2014 and 2015. This lunar eclipse takes place on 28 September 2015.

Mark Blitz recalls that the last time there were four lunar eclipses in such a short time was in 1967 - the same year that Israel took Jerusalem in the Six-Day War.

However, the world didn't end then either...
