On Sunday night a fire broke out at the famous clock tower in the Novodevitjiji Monastery in central Moscow.
The monastery, which was built in 1524, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is under restoration.
However, Russian authorities says that the clock tower has not been damaged severely by the fire, and that the fire mostly was limited to the scaffolding that surrounds the tower.
The tower is 72 meters high and the fire broke out roughly 35 meters above ground.
The fire was extinguished around midnight. Well over 100 firefighters participated in the extinguishing work.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
